Thanks for everything!

Dear Hollymead Community,

This is my last day working at our school and I am writing to you with a message of gratitude. As I sit here reflecting on the last four years I feel a great appreciation for the opportunity to serve the children, families, and staff here at Hollymead. Even more than that, I feel grateful that you entrusted me to help lead in educating the children of this area. Thank you for all the high fives, fist bumps, smiles, and other gifts, especially forgiving me when I got a name wrong!

Hollymead is a special place and I’m sure that the new administrators and staff will continue to push for excellence. Please welcome them in the same warm way that you welcomed and supported me.

Thanks again,
Staci England

Earth Day Art Show Raised $1300!

Congratulations Hollymead!

As a school we raised $1300 from the Earth Day Art Show that we donated to our friends at Rockfish Valley Wildlife Center and the World Wildlife Fund!

This money will help support endangered animals, scientists, protecting habitats and helping rehabilitate animals in need who live right here in central Virginia.

Way to go Hollymead planet protectors!

PTO President’s Message

President’s Message

Volunteers do not necessarily have the time; they just have the heart.” – Elizabeth Andrew

As the board closes out the school year, we have two volunteers to thank – Kristen Gass and Kristen Lyons.  Kristen G. has served as the PTO Board Treasurer for three years.  She gave of her time and talents to manage our account, checks, and cash smoothly! Kristen L. has served on the board for two years as Volunteer Chair.  She used her time to recruit and train volunteers in all the PTO jobs!  These two ladies also helped in many other areas of the school and the PTO.  Kristen G. and Kristen L., we thank you for ALL that you have done for PTO and we certainly know that you “have the heart”!
