It’s that time of the year for our Cirque du Hollymead to razzle, dazzle and show their spectacular feats! Also fantastic souvenirs and delicious snacks will be available for purchase.
Cirque du Hollymead is a Cirque du Soleil type of circus which involves child performers ages 9-10 from the Hollymead Extended Day Enrichment Program.
Our theme this year is Dia de los Muertos, the Mexican Celebration.
It is also a fund raiser to aid our third school in Rajasthan, India.
We are trying to raise money to purchase furniture as students sit on the floor.
Last year, we were able to paint both the interior and exterior of both an elementary school and a preschool, bought a water filtration system, educational materials, toys, furniture, carpets, uniforms and bought clothes for a impoverished preschool boy.
We have also started a doll program as an incentive to encourage girls to stay in school, as many girls in India are sometimes kept home to work on farms in rural areas.
Don’t miss the chance to be dazzled and to help us, help others!
